Office 365 Terminal Server Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I need Microsoft 365 Apps (shared-computer activation) installed on our existing Windows Remote Desktop Session Host so that every user who logs in can run the full Office suite. The server must keep pointing back to our on-premises Exchange box for Outlook because we have no hybrid connectivity in place yet.
Here is what I expect:
• Prepare the RDS server, remove any legacy Office bits if needed, and deploy Microsoft 365 Apps configured for shared use.
• Activate it against our tenant so each user is licensed automatically at sign-in.
• Configure Outlook to continue using the current on-prem Exchange environment; verify Autodiscover and all profile settings.
• If DNS adjustments (e.g., pointing certain records to Microsoft) prove to be the cleaner route, walk me through that decision and handle the changes safely.
• Leave me with a brief step-by-step document of what was done and how to maintain or extend the setup.
You’ll receive an admin RDP session and access to the Microsoft 365 admin centre. I’ll be available to coordinate any brief outage windows and to test with several user accounts before we sign off.
