Microsoft 365 Teams Kick-off

Job ID: 39977456

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m ready to roll Microsoft 365 into our environment but need a specialist to get the ball moving. My priority is Microsoft Teams: the backend configuration, the first wave of user accounts, and the initial policies and permission sets that will keep everything tidy once we scale.

Right now we have several Microsoft identities—MSDN, Azure, and a couple of legacy logins—and I’m looking for guidance on which tenant/login should become the “single source of truth” before anything else is deployed. Once the groundwork is in place my team will take it from there, so consider this an implementation jump-start rather than a full-service rollout.

Deliverables:
• Identify and confirm the best Microsoft login/tenant for our long-term Microsoft 365 use.
• Stand up Microsoft Teams in that tenant, including all required backend settings.
• Create the first batch of user accounts (about a dozen) and verify their access.
• Configure baseline Teams policies and permissions—messaging, meetings, and external access—so we have a secure, functional starting point.

We currently run our own Linux Postfix server for our corporate email domain (iservice.info). We will need to migrate users from that server to 365.

I’m expecting this to be a short engagement—like a $150 starter package—so efficiency is key. If you know the admin portals, PowerShell shortcuts, and the typical pitfalls of multi-subscription environments, let’s connect and knock this out quickly. If you are good in this type or network admin role there will be other work for you.
