Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune expert to configure, test, and document a set of device management and security policies for both Mac and Windows systems.
The objective is to ensure all corporate devices are compliant, secure, and automatically configured through Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
A test Mac device is already enrolled in Intune for validation and deployment testing.
Scope of Work
1. Intune Policy Configuration (Mac and Windows)
The following policies must be created and deployed:
Prevent USB file transfers and disable USB storage access
Force automatic OS and software updates within 1 day of release, preferably during evening hours
Redirect the local Downloads folder to OneDrive
Prevent users from creating local accounts
Require Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) authentication for device login
Restrict access to SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook from personal devices (corporate-only access)
Block installation of other browsers and prevent login to personal email accounts (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.)
2. Application Auto-Deployment via Intune
The following applications should be automatically pushed and installed upon device registration:
Microsoft Word
Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Copilot
ChatGPT
RingCentral
WhatsApp
Adobe Acrobat Pro
Deliverables
Configured Intune profiles, compliance policies, and deployment settings
Automated application deployment for Windows and macOS
Validation testing on the provided Mac device
Complete setup documentation for internal reference
Requirements
Proven experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS device management
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Conditional Access Policies
Experience in automated app deployment through Intune
Excellent documentation and testing skills
