MacBook & Office 365 Setup
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a brand-new MacBook Pro that needs to be fully prepped for daily work. The goal is to get everything from my previous MacBook Pro—specifically all documents, files, email messages, and contacts—migrated over, then make sure Microsoft 365 for Mac is installed and ready to go.
Here is what I’m looking to have done:
• Transfer every document and file from the old machine to the new one, preserving the folder structure.
• Move all email data and contacts so that they appear seamlessly in Outlook on the new Mac, especially the On My Computer Outlook files that are not stored on the Outlook 365 server.
• Provide light, on-demand troubleshooting for macOS or the Office suite should issues pop up in the weeks that follow.
I've already used Migration Assistant, but I was not able to re-attach the On My Computer email folders so I'll want to start from scratch with Migration Assistant to include the newer files I've created while still using my old MacBook Pro. Once everything is in place, I’d appreciate a quick walkthrough so I know where everything lives and how to keep it backed up.
If you’re confident you can handle a straightforward migration and remain available for the occasional question afterwards, I’d like to get started soon.
