Email Migration & Authentication Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I need to move one mailbox rom WHC over to Microsoft 365. They are the only accounts involved and there are no custom forwarding rules or unusual filters to worry about, so the migration should be straightforward. Once everything is in Exchange Online, I want the domain locked down:
• Publish and align an SPF record that reflects the new Microsoft 365 senders
• Generate and enable DKIM keys directly in the Microsoft 365 admin centre
• Create a DMARC record (at least a quarantine policy with reporting) to close the loop on spoofing prevention
Outlook must send and receive flawlessly after the switch, and I expect clear DNS propagation checks (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to confirm the setup. When the work is finished, hand me a concise document listing every change, the exact DNS entries, and a quick-reference guide for future edits.
If you have completed similar migrations and authentication roll-outs, especially using Exchange Online PowerShell or tools such as dmarcian or MXToolbox, let me know—seeing that experience will help me choose quickly. I’m ready to supply admin and registrar access as soon as we agree on the plan.
