Cybersecurity Support Tasks
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m focusing all current IT efforts on tightening cybersecurity and want an experienced specialist to guide and execute the process from assessment through remediation. The environment is a mix of Windows workstations, a Linux-based web server, and several cloud services (Microsoft 365 and AWS).
Core objectives
• Run a comprehensive vulnerability assessment across on-prem and cloud assets (preferred tools: Nessus, OpenVAS, AWS Inspector, or your equivalent).
• Deliver a clear, prioritised report that explains each finding and its business impact.
• Implement or walk me through the most critical fixes—hardening configs, patching, endpoint protection tuning, IAM clean-up, firewall or WAF rule adjustments.
• Provide concise documentation so future audits are straightforward.
Success criteria
1. No critical or high-severity issues left unaddressed in the final scan.
2. All changes recorded in an easy-to-follow change log and security guideline.
3. A short handover session (video or written) so the in-house team can maintain the new posture.
