Configure SharePoint Permissions

Job ID: 39901633

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I’m looking for a Microsoft 365 pro who can straighten out permissions on a SharePoint Online document library that is currently surfaced through Sharepoint.

Scope of work
• Set up three permission tiers—Administrators, Managers, and Regular employees—inside the library.
• Give Administrators full access, including the ability to download, move, and edit files.
• Keep Managers’ standard read/write capabilities intact.
• Restrict Regular employees to viewing online only; they must not be able to download, sync, or export the files.
• Move (or re-publish) the existing library from sharepoin to One Drvie so it is cleanly available in users’ OneDrive without breaking links or losing version history.
• Test each role with sample accounts and confirm the restrictions work on both the web and desktop clients.
• Provide a brief hand-off guide that shows where these settings live in the Microsoft 365 admin center, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive, so we can adjust permissions later.

Tools & techniques expected
SharePoint Online admin center, OneDrive admin center, Microsoft 365 compliance settings (IRM, Conditional Access), and—if needed—PowerShell or PnP cmdlets for bulk permission changes.

I need this done efficiently and documented clearly so our team can maintain the setup going forward.
