Biweekly Household Management Support
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
Life in our busy household runs smoother when responsibilities are clearly handled, so I’m bringing in a house manager on a consistent bi-weekly rhythm. Each visit should cover three core areas:
• Cleaning and basic maintenance – prioritise common-area tidiness, quick fixes, and flag anything that needs a specialist.
• Scheduling and organising family events – keep a shared digital calendar up to date, confirm bookings, and leave a printed snapshot on the fridge before you go.
• Household finances – track expenses in a simple spreadsheet or app, reconcile receipts from the fortnight, and prepare a concise summary so we always know where we stand.
I’m wide open to whatever tools you find most efficient, whether that’s Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Notion, Trello, or another platform you prefer, as long as everyone in the family can access it easily from a phone.
A successful hand-over at the end of each visit will include:
– Updated cleaning/maintenance checklist with notes on anything outstanding
– Next two-week event calendar confirmed
– Fresh expense log with totals and any questions highlighted
Reliability and clear communication matter more than anything, and there’s room to refine the system together once you see how our household works.
