Node.js NFC Sharing Microservice Development

We're looking for experienced freelancers to implement a critical Near Field Communication (NFC) sharing functionality within our ecosystem. This microservice will enable users to share their digital business card profiles via NFC-enabled devices and physical NFC tags. The microservice will be developed using JavaScript (Node.js) and interact with our existing Supabase (PostgreSQL) backend.

A key requirement is to design and implement the solution to support user self-provisioning of NFC tags purchased from the company, where users will link their tags to their profiles directly via the platform's app.

The primary tasks for this proposal include:

NFC Data Generation: Implement logic to generate NFC Data Exchange Format (NDEF) records for public profile URLs and vCard URLs.

NFC Scan Tracking: Develop an API endpoint to log NFC scan events for analytics.

NFC Tag Management (User Self-Provisioning): Implement API endpoints to allow users to claim and link their purchased, unassigned NFC tags to their profiles.

NFC Tag Management (Internal): Implement API endpoints for the company's internal management of NFC tags (registration, assignment).

Error Handling & Robustness: Implement robust error handling for NFC interactions and Supabase.

Testing: Thoroughly test the end-to-end NFC sharing and tag provisioning processes.

This project demands rapid development, with a maximum completion time of 3 days.

Freelancers should indicate their total estimated hours for this project and their applicable hourly rate. Please submit your proposals by EOD July 23, 2025.
