Hi All
I need to develop a device that can communicate with a PLC via Modbus RTU (Board-rate 19200, 8N1, ID xx) over a serial cable. The unit must read the data in seconds (1 -60 seconds depending on the data) from the PLC and store the data on t self.
We need to extract the data vie two options:
1) Insert a USB in a certain USB slot and the device must then download the store data in a CSV file for the last week / Month
2) We must be able to read the Data/CSV file directly from the device via Ethernet or a serial port.
After the prove of concept we will need to add and remove registers our self depending on the PLC we need to reed.
