STM32F767ZI Nucleo USB Host Audio Transfer

Job ID: 39228303

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I'm seeking an experienced embedded systems engineer to convert my STM32F767ZI Nucleo board into a USB host, with my PC functioning as a USB device. The primary task is to facilitate the transfer of a PCM audio file from the PC to the Nucleo board. Once on the board, the PCM audio file should be stored in the board's RAM and also saved onto an SD card connected to the Nucleo board. The process should be reversible, allowing for data transfer in both directions.

Key Requirements:
- Implement SD card access using either SPI or SDIO protocol, as per convenience.
- Provide detailed connection diagrams for interfacing the SD card with the Nucleo board.
- Use Azure RTOS for the project implementation, with development tools STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeMX.
- Ensure the code is clean, readable and easily modifiable for future enhancements.
- Provide guidance on the base project used for reference.
- Shall complete in a week's time

Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in embedded systems, specifically with STM32 microcontrollers.
- Strong understanding of USB host and device configurations.
- Prior experience with PCM audio file handling.
- Familiarity with Azure RTOS and STM32 development tools.
- Ability to create clear and detailed connection diagrams.

Answering the PCM audio file specifics:
The PCM audio file to be transferred is of the format 48 KHz, 16-bit.

Please submit your proposal if you have the relevant experience and skills.
