Job Description:
We are developing a real-time GPS tracking system using the 7Semi EC200U LTE 4G GNSS IoT Smart Modem, which has an onboard STM32 MCU. The goal is to configure the EC200U module to collect GPS data and send it to a remote server or mobile device via GSM (4G LTE).
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and initialize the EC200U module for GPS and LTE communication.
Extract NMEA GPS data from the module.
Send GPS data to a cloud server/API over GSM.
Implement power-efficient and reliable communication.
Ensure error handling and debugging.
Requirements:
Experience with Quectel EC200U modem.
Strong knowledge of STM32 development (CubeIDE, Keil, or STM32 HAL/LL).
Familiarity with AT commands for LTE/GSM communication.
Experience in UART/SPI/I2C communication.
Knowledge of MQTT/HTTP/TCP protocols is a plus.
Previous experience with GNSS/GPS tracking projects is preferred.
Deliverables:
Fully functional firmware for STM32 MCU that reads GPS data and sends it via LTE.
Clear documentation on setup, usage, and configurations.
Assistance in debugging and final testing.
