Raspberry Pi Configuration for IoT Integration
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I'm looking for a skilled professional with experience in configuring Raspberry Pi as an IoT device. The specific task is to set up the device to connect to an RTL-SDR dongle, a Cellular modem to allow internet access through a sim card, and be battery powered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure the Raspberry Pi to function as an IoT device linking to an RTL-SDR system
- Implement real-time frequency scanning capabilities
Ideal Skills:
- Experience with Raspberry Pi configuration
- Familiarity with IoT systems
- Knowledge of RTL-SDR systems
- Skills in enabling real-time frequency scanning
The device would need to have battery capacity of at least 5 days (hopefully 10 days), and turn on once a day to run a program to scan for a specific VHF signal using an SDR software and RTL-SDR dongle connected to the antenna. The device would then send an email with the signal strength of that frequency and turn off again to allow me to remotely montior if a vhf transmitter on an animal is in the area.
