Quadruped Power PCB Design
Budget: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 INR
I need a compact, reliable PCB that will serve as the power and control backbone for my quadruped robot. The board has to integrate three key blocks: a microcontroller for gait logic, a power-management stage that can accept both a 12S to 14S battery and an external 50.4 V 20 Ato 40 A DC/AC adapter, and high-current motor-driver channels for the four legs.
Space is limited to roughly 200 mm × 160 mm, so component placement and thermal handling matter. Battery charging, voltage and current sensing, and protected power rails for the logic section should be built in. I’ll supply Reference schematics the moment we begin.
Deliverables
• Annotated schematic in Altium, KiCad, or Eagle
• Complete, fabrication-ready Gerber/NC drill set plus pick-and-place files
• Clean BOM with manufacturer part numbers and at least one in-stock distributor per item
• Brief bring-up guide and test points called out on the silkscreen
Acceptance Criteria
The board must boot the MCU from external power or battery, report voltage and current over I²C/SPI/UART, and drive the motor outputs at the rated current without thermal shutdown for five minutes of continuous walking simulation.
A first pass schematic review is needed within a week, with final production files right after so I can send them to JLCPCB. Time is critical, so only respond if you can start immediately and work fast.
Payment will be only cleared after project is completed
