Modbus RTU & ASCII RS485 Library
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
I am seeking a skilled Codesys 2.3 programmer to create a library for managing multiple RS485 devices. The devices, controlled by ASCII code or Modbus RTU, are installed in groups. Each group is overseen by two PLCs: one master and one slave.
Key Features:
- Dual Communication Protocol: The library must prioritize both ASCII code and Modbus RTU equally.
- Group Management: It should manage 6 to 10 groups of devices.
- Device Initialization: Each device needs to be initialized by sending a command. If a device fails, the master PLC should attempt to communicate through the slave PLC.
- Extensive Membership: Every group contains more than 15 members, ranging from device ID 1 to the total number of group members.
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Codesys 2.3
- Proficiency in implementing and managing Modbus RTU and ASCII communication protocols
- Familiarity with RS485 devices
- Strong programming skills to create a robust library for device control.
The successful completion of this project will ensure seamless communication, control and monitoring of multiple RS485 devices, enhancing operational efficiency.
