Microcontoler board designing

I'm looking for a freelancer to design a microcontroller board for me. The microcontroller should be 16-bit, and although I have a rough idea of the components that should be involved, I'm open to suggestions from the freelancer and welcome any ideas they may have. The board should be compatible with a Linux operating system. At the completion of the project, it should have the capability to communicate with other equipment. I am open to discussing budget and timeline depending on the experience of the freelancer.
