Project Description:
We are seeking a talented team with expertise in electrical hardware and firmware design for an industrial datalogger cum gateway communication device. The device should able to take all industrial process parameters and electrical parameters in thr form of RS485 and also direct DI, AI mode to send these data to the server through MQTT communication. This smart gateway device should have inbuilt 4G and 5G GSM sim slot facility in addition to eathernet port to access internet connectivity. Also the device should able to locate its GPS location and send to server. Since the device is industrial application purpose, it should build in robost way.
The project entails designing a custom PCB and developing firmware to enable seamless communication using the Modbus protocol.
Key Requirements:
1. Modbus Communication Protocol:
- The selected freelancer must have a strong understanding of the Modbus protocol and its implementation in industrial environments.
2. Custom PCB Design:
- The preferred hardware platform for the datalogger is a custom PCB.
- The freelancer should possess extensive experience in designing custom PCBs for industrial applications.
3. Interval-Based Data Logging:
- The datalogger should be capable of logging data at regular intervals.
- The freelancer must have knowledge and experience in implementing interval-based data logging in hardware and firmware designs.
4. Industrial Expertise:
- It is important that the freelancer has prior experience in designing communication devices specifically for industrial environments.
5. The freelancer needs to handover all the design source files including Altium pcb design, schematic, bom and firmware source code along with 1 set of hardware prototype model.
