Optimize My Scalping EA for FX
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
I'm seeking a skilled developer to enhance my existing scalping Expert Advisor (EA) for Forex pairs.
Key Improvements Needed:
- Strategy Logic: I want the implementation of new indicators, and the optimization of entry points and exit strategies to increase the effectiveness of the EA.
- Risk Management: The primary focus should be on improving drawdown management to safeguard my investments during unfavorable market conditions.
The ideal freelancer for this project should have robust experience in developing and optimizing Forex trading EAs, with a deep understanding of strategy logic and risk management. Knowledge of various indicators and their application in Forex trading is a plus.
Understand the current scalping EA that I have (I will send the EA to you), and adjust it or improve it further. Certain suggestions include:
Scalping bot improvements:
1. Applying RSI/MA/Bollingerbands to further finetune trading criteria
RSI Idea: If price is overbought, we can look for sells. If price is oversold, we can look for buys.
MA Idea: If price is overall bullish, meaning that price is above the MA, then we are looking for buy continuation. If price is overall bearish, meaning that price is below the MA, then we are looking for sell continuation. For moving average on the 5min chart, we can look at the 20 period moving average.
2. Don't let 100 bars expires before refreshing the high/low. If there is a new high/low, delete the current order and put it on the new high/low
3. News filter to trade only on days where there are no high impact news, (scanning red-foldered news on any FX websites like forexfactory etc)
