eCommerce in MERN with multivendor Web & App Build
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m building a multivendor e-commerce platform on the MERN stack and need both the customer-facing website and a companion mobile application. Customers will shop on the website as usual, but vendors will NOT log in there at all; every vendor task happens inside the mobile app.
Core workflow
• Website (React + Node/Express + MongoDB): catalog browsing, search, cart, checkout, order history, coupon logic, and an admin dashboard for me to approve vendors and oversee sales.
• Vendor mobile app (ideally React Native to share code): vendors authenticate exclusively through Facebook or Google, then add new products, edit titles, prices, stock, images, toggle visibility, and see a basic status flag (active / inactive). No order or analytics modules are required right now—pure product management.
• Shared REST/GraphQL API connecting site and app, with secure token-based flow.
What I’ll count as done
1. Source code for web and mobile projects, cleanly organised and documented.
2. Working social OAuth (Facebook, Google) in the mobile app with refresh token handling.
3. Database schema that separates customer, vendor, and admin data.
4. Deployment scripts or clear step-by-step setup notes so I can spin everything up on a fresh VPS and publish the app to the stores.
5. A short Loom or similar walk-through showing the vendor workflow on a test device and a customer checkout on the site.
