We are a fast-growing startup (or company) with an exciting product in the works. We're looking for a Senior MERN stack expert to help us complete the MVP for our platform. Our project is currently in development, and we need someone with strong MERN expertise who can help bring our vision to life and take the product to the next level.
Project Overview:
The project involves building out the remaining features of our MVP, refining the UI/UX, and ensuring scalability and performance. The platform is built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), and we need an experienced developer to finalize the MVP for launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Development: Enhance and optimize the user interface and experience using React.js. Ensure responsive design and a seamless experience across devices.
Backend Development: Work on the server-side of the application using Node.js and Express.js, building APIs and integrating with the front-end.
Database Management: Manage data using MongoDB, ensuring that data flows smoothly between the front-end and back-end.
MVP Completion: Work with our team to prioritize and complete key features of the MVP, ensuring everything is working as expected.
Testing & Debugging: Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the app is stable and performs well.
Code Review: Collaborate with the team to ensure that code is written efficiently and follows best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
MERN Stack Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js in building full-stack web applications.
Frontend Mastery: Solid experience with React.js, including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux), and building responsive UI components.
Backend Development: Proven experience building scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Database Skills: Proficiency with MongoDB, writing complex queries, and ensuring data integrity.
API Development: Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Version Control: Strong experience using Git for version control.
Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in sprints to deliver features efficiently.
