MERN E-commerce Web App Build
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m building an e-commerce platform and need a MERN developer who can take it from concept to a fully deployed, mobile-first experience. The stack is set: React.js on the front end, Node.js with Express on the back end, and MongoDB for persistence. I will provide wireframes and a basic UI kit; you’ll turn them into a responsive application that feels just as good on a phone as it does on a desktop.
Core scope
• Secure JWT authentication that supports separate roles for Admin and standard Users.
• Two dashboards:
– Admin with user management already confirmed as a must-have.
– User dashboard will surface typical customer functions (orders, profile, etc.); I’m open to your UX suggestions.
• Full CRUD for products, orders, and user data.
• Clean, well-commented code that follows modern React patterns (hooks, functional components) and Express best practices.
• Git-based source control with frequent, logical commits.
• Help me stand the app up on my chosen VPS (Ubuntu + Nginx) and hand over a repeatable deployment script or CI/CD config.
Acceptance criteria
1. All routes protected appropriately with JWT and role checks.
2. Front end passes Lighthouse mobile performance >90.
3. Admin can create, read, update, delete any user; regular users cannot access admin routes.
4. README includes clear setup, env variable notes, and deployment steps.
If you’ve shipped a production-grade MERN e-commerce app before and can point me to a repo or demo, that will make selection easy. Let’s get this live.
