MERN Web App with Chatbot

I need a proof-of-concept web application built and delivered within 24 hours. The stack is MERN: a minimal, responsive interface in React.js; Node.js with Express handling the API layer; and MongoDB for lightweight data storage.

The centerpiece is a chatbot driven by the OpenAI API. From the main screen, users should type a question and receive a streamed or complete answer, with each exchange logged to the database. No custom model training—just a clean, reliable wrapper around OpenAI with graceful error handling.

I’ll share basic wireframes and the API key on award. All code goes into a GitHub repo, environment variables live in a .env file, and a succinct README must explain local setup, endpoints, and deployment (Heroku, Render, or Vercel).

Deliverables
• React front end wired to a /chat endpoint
• Express server with routes for chat requests and MongoDB persistence
• Fully functioning OpenAI chatbot, prompt/response pairs stored in DB
• README and deployment instructions
• Live prototype link or quick demo video delivered inside 24 hours

Acceptance criteria: app builds without errors; chat replies arrive in <5 s; UI updates instantly; messages persist in MongoDB.
