MERN Stack Expert for Bug Fixes & Updates

Project: MERN Stack Developer Needed for Bug Fixes & Feature Updates (Short-Term)
Overview

We have an existing MERN stack web application (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) that is already live.
We are looking for an experienced MERN freelancer to fix existing bugs and implement a few feature updates.

This is not a greenfield project. The codebase already exists.

Tech Stack

Frontend: React.js

Backend: Node.js, Express

Database: MongoDB

Authentication: JWT (already implemented)

Hosting: Already deployed (details will be shared)

Scope of Work
1. Bug Fixes

Fix UI issues and broken flows

Resolve API and backend logic bugs

Fix data inconsistency / validation issues

Improve error handling where required

(Exact bug list will be shared after short discussion)

2. Feature Updates

Small feature enhancements to existing modules

Minor UI/UX improvements (React side)

Update or extend existing APIs (no major redesign)

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in MERN stack

Comfortable reading and improving existing code

Can work independently with clear communication

Able to suggest simple, practical solutions (not over-engineering)

Project Type

Short-term / task-based

Possibility of ongoing work if things go well

Deliverables

All reported bugs fixed

New features working and tested

Clean, readable code

Basic testing before handover
