MERN Portfolio Site Build

I need a full-stack React / MERN developer to build a polished portfolio website that showcases both my professional and creative work. The site should load fast, look great on any device, and be easy for me to update later.

Core pages and features
• About Me – a clean biography section with photo and short story
• Project Showcase – sortable grid or carousel where I can highlight code projects, artwork and case studies with images, descriptions, and links
• Products – simple catalog–style page so I can display items for sale or download
• Contact Form – secure, spam-protected form that sends directly to my email

Technical expectations
• React front-end with modern hooks, functional components and responsive styling (Tailwind or styled-components is fine)
• Node.js + Express back-end, MongoDB for any dynamic content or form submissions
• Well-structured REST API endpoints and clear environment variable setup
• Deployment to either Vercel, Netlify, or Heroku (open to your recommendation) with instructions so I can redeploy when I add new content
• Source code hosted on GitHub with a concise README

3. Brief hand-off guide covering local setup, content updates, and deployment
