MERN & NestJS Custom App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m kicking off a brand-new, green-field build and need a senior engineer to own the full MERN + NestJS stack. The product is completely custom—neither an eCommerce site nor a social network—so I’m expecting architectural input as well as hands-on coding.
Core scope
• Implement secure user authentication and role-based management (JWT, OAuth or similar).
• Set up robust data analytics and reporting pipelines so end-users can visualise key metrics in-app.
• Wire the application to several third-party services (payment, email, and one proprietary REST API) with clean, maintainable integrations.
Tech landscape
Frontend will be React with modern hooks; backend services will run on Node/NestJS, exposing REST (and possibly GraphQL) endpoints backed by MongoDB. TypeScript, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) are already in place.
Acceptance criteria
• All listed features work end-to-end and are covered by unit/integration tests.
• Code follows NestJS & React best practices, fully typed.
• API documentation is generated (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Deployment scripts run successfully on our staging server.
If you have 5+ years delivering production MERN and NestJS systems and can communicate clearly throughout the build, I’d like to hear how you would approach this project and an estimated timeline for first release.
