As more business and consumer activity moves online, the risks of identity misuse, document fraud, and account compromise continue to increase. truuth builds technology that helps organisations reduce these risks with confidence.
Our legacy product, truuth KYC, is a fully digital Verification of Identity (VOI) service used by enterprise customers to onboard users quickly and securely. It combines document authenticity checks, biometric matching, liveness detection, and database verification to deliver a high level of identity assurance, typically completing verification in under two minutes without face-to-face interactions.
Role Overview
We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience, ideally 4 or more, building production web applications. This is a full-time remote role within our engineering team.
This role involves strong backend ownership with deep integration into AWS-based services, alongside frontend development. You will work on production systems used by real customers to solve real-world identity and fraud problems.
Note: This role does not require Express.js-specific experience. Our backend architecture is primarily cloud-native and AWS-driven.
Nice to Have
Development experience in Python, including building APIs using the Flask framework
Experience with DevOps and MLOps practices, particularly using serverless architectures, Terraform, and CloudFormation
