MERN AI Image Generator
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a production-ready MERN application whose central feature is AI-powered image generation. The workflow is straightforward: a user authenticates, submits a prompt, and instantly receives an image created through Stability AI. Every resulting asset is saved to Cloudinary and served worldwide over its CDN.
Core stack and flow
• Node.js + Express expose a clean REST API for auth, prompt submission, image retrieval, and basic content management.
• MongoDB Atlas stores user data, prompts, and image metadata.
• React (SPA) on Firebase Hosting consumes the API and provides a sleek UI, including prompt history and responsive galleries.
• The backend runs on Render; deployments must be automated from Git.
Key requirements
• Integrate Stability AI endpoints efficiently, handling retries, queueing, and graceful error responses.
• Use Cloudinary for upload, transformation, and versioned delivery of images.
• Secure the app with best-practice email/password auth and JWT sessions; I am open to stronger methods if you recommend them.
• Write concise API docs (OpenAPI/Swagger preferred) so future devs can consume or extend each route easily.
• Emphasise scalability, logging, and sensible rate-limiting from the outset.
Deliverables
1. Full source code in a private Git repo.
2. Working deployments: Render URL for the API, Firebase URL for the frontend.
3. Seed data or a simple script so I can test generation end-to-end.
4. README covering setup, environment variables, and a short hand-over guide.
Acceptance criteria
• A new account can sign up, log in, generate at least one image, and later revisit it from any device.
• Render’s dashboard shows zero runtime errors after 24 hours.
• Lighthouse performance score ≥ 90 on the main React page.
When you apply, show me past work that proves you’ve shipped similar MERN, AI, or media-heavy projects in production. Code samples, live links, or concise case studies are perfect. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit.
