MERN E-Commerce Site Development

I’m building a full-featured e-commerce website and want it crafted entirely on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node). The core of the project is a clean, scalable product catalog backed by MongoDB, a seamless, PCI-compliant online payment flow, and a user-friendly reviews & ratings module that ties directly into each product page.

Here’s how I picture the workflow:

• Product catalog: React front-end that delivers fast filtering, search, and variant support, with Express/Node APIs and MongoDB schemas already sketched but open to your best practices.
• Payments: Stripe is my first choice; if you’re comfortable adding PayPal as an option that’s a bonus. The checkout must include real-time validation and secure tokenisation.
• Reviews & ratings: Auth-protected CRUD endpoints, pagination, and a moderation flag so I can approve or hide comments from the admin dashboard.

Deliverables I will review for sign-off:
1. Source code in a private Git repo with clear commit history.
2. Responsive React UI that passes Lighthouse scores above 90 for performance and accessibility.
3. RESTful API documentation (OpenAPI / Swagger preferred).
4. Brief hand-off guide so I can deploy to my own AWS account with a single command.
