MERN Auth & Dashboard Upgrade
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have an unfinished MERN-stack application that I’m finally ready to polish and grow. Your work will unfold in three clear milestones:
1. Authentication
• Integrate a Sign-Up / Sign-In flow based on email-and-password credentials.
• Keep the look unmistakably modern—fluid animations, subtle micro-interactions, responsive breakpoints, and clean-lined forms that drop straight into my existing React codebase.
• Secure the back end with best practices (bcrypt hashing, JWT or Passport, CSRF protection).
2. Dashboard redesign
• Replace the bare-bones admin view with a fresh, minimalist interface.
• Surface dynamic graphs and charts so that key metrics pop the moment I log in. Feel free to use Chart.js, Recharts, Victory, or another React-friendly library.
• Maintain a coherent design language across typography, iconography, color, and spacing.
3. Blog expansion
• Evolve the project into a full blog site: CRUD for posts, image uploads, markdown or rich-text editing, and public vs. authenticated routes.
• SEO-ready routing, server-side pagination, and a snappy search are my priority features.
Tech you’ll touch: React, Node, Express, MongoDB, JWT, React Router, CSS-in-JS or Tailwind, and whichever charting library suits the job. Figma or similar for quick UI mock-ups is a plus.
Deliverables will be accepted once:
• Sign-Up / Sign-In works end-to-end with secure persistence.
• The redesigned dashboard renders at least two fully functioning data visualisations.
• Blog module supports create, read, update, delete with clean UI and error handling.
