Full MERN E-Commerce Store Build
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m launching a complete e-commerce site on the MERN stack and want the entire storefront—from database to UI—coded cleanly, documented, and ready for production deployment.
Core build
• MERN architecture: MongoDB + Express API, React (with hooks or Redux if helpful) and Node.
• Secure authentication: session-based or JWT with refresh tokens, protecting routes for two roles—Admin and Customer.
• User account area: profile editing, order history, wishlist and address management.
• Product catalogue: hierarchical categories and sub-categories, SKU management, images and stock control.
• Search & recommendations: fast full-text search with faceting plus “related items” or “customers also bought” suggestions; feel free to leverage MongoDB Atlas Search, ElasticSearch, Algolia or a custom solution—whichever matches the stack.
• Payment checkout: integrate a reliable gateway; I’m open to PayPal, Stripe, Square, or any other modern provider you can justify.
• Responsive UI: desktop, tablet and mobile, polished with a modern component library or your own styling.
Acceptance criteria
1. New users can register, log in/out, and maintain an active session across tabs.
2. Admin dashboard lets me CRUD products, categories and view orders.
3. Customers can add items to cart, check out and see the order in their history.
4. Search returns relevant results under 200 ms for a 10k-product sample dataset.
5. Payment flows return success/failure webhooks and update order status automatically.
6. Code passes linting, includes README with install/build/deploy steps, and ships in a Git repository.
