Fix Live MERN Deployment

Job ID: 40605695

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

My MERN application runs flawlessly on localhost but, once deployed to a VPS, it becomes sluggish, several features break, and occasional crashes or server-side errors appear. All environment variables are already set on the live machine, so the root cause sits elsewhere—likely within build configuration, server setup, or resource limits on the VPS.

I need an experienced MERN engineer who can:

• Inspect the current VPS configuration (Node/Express server, React build, MongoDB connection, reverse proxy if any).
• Trace and resolve the slow page loads, restore broken features, and eliminate crash-causing errors.
• Optimise build and runtime settings—think PM2, Nginx/Apache, Webpack, MongoDB indices, or appropriate caching—so the site performs as smoothly online as it does locally.
• Provide a concise hand-off note summarising fixes applied and any future maintenance tips.

Acceptance will be based on:
1. No crashes or unhandled errors during normal use.
2. Feature parity with the local build.
3. Pages load within an acceptable timeframe for a typical VPS (we can benchmark after the first review).
4. Clear documentation of the changes.

Code is in Git; access can be granted immediately. Let me know your estimated timeframe and any additional information you’ll need from my side.
