Enhance Trekking MERN Dashboard
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
My trekking booking platform already runs on React.js, Node.js with Express, and MongoDB, secured with JWT based authentication and role driven access for Admins, Organizers, and Users. What I need now is a sharper, more informative dashboard that lets each role see bookings, trek status, and key metrics at a glance. That feature enhancement is my top priority.
While the dashboard comes first, I also want any lurking bugs squashed, slow queries tuned, new REST endpoints wired up cleanly, and the whole stack readied for production deployment on a cloud host. Payment integration is in place conceptually but can be revisited once the core UX pieces feel polished.
You will be working directly in a Git-based workflow with separate branches for frontend (React, Redux Toolkit where helpful) and backend (Express, Mongoose). Clean commits, descriptive pull requests, and short feedback loops matter to me.
Deliverables I would like to see:
• A responsive, role aware dashboard built with modern React patterns (hooks, functional components)
• Refactored API routes that the new dashboard consumes, covered by brief unit tests
• Bug fixes and performance tweaks identified during the process
• A deployment ready build with environment configs for staging and production
Acceptance criteria: the dashboard loads relevant data in under two seconds on a typical broadband connection, passes lighthouse audits above 90 on performance and accessibility, and deploys without manual intervention through the existing CI/CD pipeline.
