Technical Recruiter for Developer Sourcing
Budget: $50,000 – $100,000 USD
I am looking for a sharp Technical Job Hunter/Recruiter to help source and vet high-quality developers for my current and upcoming projects. I am building a high-performance team and need someone who can go beyond LinkedIn to find "hidden gem" developers who are technically proficient and culture-fits.
Your goal is to find developers who specialize in modern stacks—specifically React, Node.js (MERN), Next.js, and Mobile (Flutter).
Key Responsibilities
Active Sourcing: Find and reach out to potential candidates on platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn, and specialized developer forums.
Initial Screening: Conduct first-round filters to ensure candidates actually possess the coding skills they claim (checking portfolios and code repositories).
Interview Scheduling: Coordinate technical interviews between shortlisted candidates and myself.
Negotiation: Assist in discussing rates and availability to ensure they fit within the project budget.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a list of "backup" developers for future scaling.
Required Skills
Technical Literacy: You must understand the difference between Frontend, Backend, and Full-stack, and be familiar with modern JavaScript frameworks.
Boolean Search Mastery: Ability to use advanced search strings to find niche talent.
Communication: Excellent English skills for professional outreach.
Persistence: A "hunter" mindset to find developers who aren't necessarily looking for work but are open to the right project.
Application Requirements
When bidding, please answer the following:
What is your experience in recruiting for MERN stack or Flutter roles?
Which platforms do you use most often to find developers?
What is your "success rate" for placing a developer who stays for the duration of a project?
