Conference organizer webapp
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
This is a summary for my conference app . See Microsoft teams or Asana or Slack to get an idea of the way I want the app to be developed
1. Any conference will have the following stakeholders
An organization team
Delegates ( attendees)
Faculty ( give keynote addresses and are also delegates)
People who will present scientific papers ( usually students and are also delegates)
Sponsors ( who will sponsor the conference)
Vendors ( can be ppl who keep stalls inside the conference for a payment , can be food caterers , designers for creatives , printers etc)
2. This webapp will be for the Organization team .
3.There will be an admin from the team who will add other members of the organization team using email or mobile no
4. The members will be assigned to various committees which can be created by admin
5. The admins of various conferences who want to use my webapp can be signed up using a landing page which will lead to the admin panel
6. Admin will create the event on the overview page and add members and create committees etc , like scientific , Accommodation , Transport , Food and Beverage etc
7. Next a registration page will be created by admin which can be accessed from the conference website . Delegates will register using the registration page and pay thru the page itself
8. Delegates who want to present scientific papers( usually in ppt format) can upload thru a paper submission page which will be a part of the registration page but will active when the admin makes it active
9. Such papers can be assigned to reviewers who will score the papers based on a scoring system and based on the score the top some papers will be presented as prize papers and the others will be proffered papers
10. The entire happenings for the conference can be placed in a scientific programme which is nothing but a schedule of Topics , speakers who will talk and the time for eg Day 1 , Morning session , Topic abc , Speaker xyz , 9 - 930 am .
11. So finally the admin has a database of Delegates , Faculty , Sponsors , Vendors
Communication with the Sponsors and Vendors can be by integrating with an email address specifically created for the conference so everything comes to an inbox
12. To deal with the organization of the conference multiple tasks can be created like creating scientific programme , selecting venue , finalizing sponsors etc and can be assigned a status like Not started , in process and finished . See Asana for an idea .
13. Finally this entire webapp has to be hosted
