Small Business Acquisition Negotiation Consultant
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 CAD
I’m in the midst of buying several small, service-based companies and need a seasoned M&A professional to step in as my deal sidekick. Your main mission is negotiation: joining calls with sellers and their brokers, pushing for buyer-friendly terms, and keeping the conversation productive and cordial.
Beyond the back-and-forth, I’ll rely on you to spot red flags in each opportunity, suggest creative yet practical deal structures, and translate industry jargon into plain language I can act on quickly. A solid grounding in small-business transactions is essential; most targets generate under $5 million in annual revenue and carry the typical owner-operator or small management team quirks.
Key deliverables I’m expecting:
• A concise written assessment of each deal’s strengths, risks, and valuation range before we advance to an LOI.
• Live representation of my interests on all seller or broker calls, with a debrief immediately afterward.
• Deal-structure recommendations (earn-out terms, seller financing percentages, holdbacks, etc.) that balance risk and upside for a service-sector acquisition.
• Clear next-step guidance so I can decide whether to proceed, renegotiate, or walk away.
If you’re comfortable steering negotiations, dissecting small-business financials, and crafting win-win structures, let’s talk.
