Insurance M&A Basics Training
Budget: ₹2,500 – ₹0 INR
I need a practical, entry-level Mergers & Acquisitions course built specifically for mid-level managers in insurance companies. The aim is to give them a clear grasp of M&A fundamentals, typical deal structures, and the day-to-day steps they will help execute once a transaction is underway.
I’m after a trainer who has already run M&A sessions and ideally knows the regulatory, actuarial and distribution nuances that make insurance deals different. What matters most is your ability to strip the jargon away and walk participants through concepts such as valuation approaches, due-diligence workflows, and post-merger integration in language that resonates with underwriters, product leads and finance managers rather than seasoned investment bankers.
Scope of work
• Shape a concise curriculum (approx. 1–2 days of content) that balances theory and real-world case studies from the insurance space.
• Produce slide deck, participant workbook and quick-reference cheatsheets.
• Deliver the training live—format is flexible, so propose in-person, virtual or a blended approach based on your strengths.
• Facilitate Q&A, short exercises and a closing knowledge check to confirm understanding.
Acceptance criteria
1. Material reflects insurance-specific considerations (capital requirements, policyholder liabilities, reinsurance, etc.).
2. Complex topics (e.g., purchase price allocation, earn-outs) are explained with step-by-step visuals or analogies.
3. Participants leave able to outline a standard deal timeline and identify where their functional expertise fits.
If this aligns with your background, let me know how you would structure the session, the type of case studies you’d pull in, and any past feedback scores or testimonials from similar programmes.
