First business acquisition in the UK

I am looking to acquire a business and needs advice on the process regarding due diligence and the financing element of the process. This would be my first acquisition, so I want to know what I need to do to be in a good position to buy a business. I am interested in using seller financing, so experience in this would be very useful.
