In-Depth M&A Valuation Reports

Job ID: 40016150

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m looking for an experienced M&A analyst to prepare full-scale valuation reports that I can present directly to executive stakeholders and potential investors. Each assignment will require you to build a robust financial model, explain your methodology step-by-step, and translate the numbers into clear strategic insights.

Scope
You will work with companies drawn from various sectors; I will supply the raw historicals, projections and any sector notes I have. Your task is to turn that information into a defensible valuation using the metrics I care about most—EBIT, Free Cash Flow, and Net Asset Value—then reconcile the outputs into a cohesive narrative. I need more than a high-level view: every report must include a granular breakdown of key drivers, sensitivity tables, and a concise commentary on assumptions.

Typical deliverables
• Dynamic financial model (Excel or Google Sheets) with clearly labeled tabs and audit trail
• Written report (Word or PDF) that walks through valuation approach, inputs, and conclusions
• One-page executive summary highlighting headline valuation ranges and strategic implications

Acceptance criteria
– All underlying formulas remain visible and editable
– EBIT, FCF, and NAV calculations must be easy to trace from source data to final valuation range
– Narrative explains any significant variances, industry-specific adjustments, and discount rate rationale
– Final files pass a quick-check for internal consistency (balance sheet balances, cash flow ties out, etc.)

If this sounds like a fit, let me know your typical turnaround time and a brief example of a similar valuation you’ve produced.
