Restaurant Menu System Designer

We are opening a modern fast-casual restaurant in California and are looking for a senior designer to create a complete professional menu system.

This is NOT a small Canva project. We are looking for someone with real experience in restaurant menu engineering and drive-thru environments.

Scope of Work:
1. Printed table menu (clean, modern, highly readable layout)
2. Static drive-thru menu (large format acrylic outdoor signage – sticker application)
3. 4K digital menu system for three 65” screens (3840x2160 resolution)
4. Promotional slides for featured items (animation-ready layout)

Brand Direction:
Modern, bold, clean, high readability, strong visual hierarchy for fast decision-making. The design must increase clarity and ordering speed.

This menu system must:
• Guide customer eye flow strategically
• Highlight high-margin items
• Be consistent across print, digital and drive-thru
• Be optimized for readability at distance

Required Deliverables:
• Editable AI files (Adobe Illustrator required)
• Print-ready large format files
• 4K digital files (3840x2160 resolution)
• Organized layered files
• Font files used
• Commercial usage rights
• Unlimited revisions until final approval

REQUIRED TO APPLY:
• Portfolio of REAL restaurant menu systems
• At least 3 examples of drive-thru or digital menu boards
• 5+ years experience in branding or restaurant design
• Brief explanation of your design process

Budget: $1,200 fixed (negotiable based on portfolio quality).
