Ghostwriter for Short Memoir / Life-Story Book

Project Description:

I am seeking a freelance writer/ghostwriter to create a short memoir / life-story book, delivered as a finished Word manuscript. The book will emphasize memorable anecdotes, integrating diary entries and up to 25 photos (captions supplied).

Scope:

Word count: minimum 10,000 words (up to 14,000 words depending on budget)

Pages: 50–90

Chapters structured chronologically or thematically

One full revision pass included

Printing/layout handled by client; no photo editing required

Interviews:

Minimum four in-person sessions (approx. 2 hours each)

Follow-up phone calls allowed for clarification/fact-checking

Client is based in Bromley, Kent and can travel to writer’s location or a convenient local place

Optional: A brief pre-interview questionnaire can be supplied if the writer prefers, but it is not required.

Timeline:

Concept will be presented as a gift for Christmas

Interviews, writing, and revisions to begin after January 2026

Client is flexible with scheduling

Budget: £800–£1,200 for the complete project
