We are seeking a skilled Medical Content Engineer with an advanced healthcare/life sciences degree to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is a physician, educated/trained in North America or a Commonwealth country, who can concisely write medical history content targeting specific clinical problems.

Writing should logically frame medical histories, integrating leading practices and evidence. Medical Content Writers will generate a range of clinical documents from start to finish, producing high-quality, clear, and accurate work. Writers may also be required to contribute to document quality control (reviewing data accuracy, formatting and appropriateness of language, and compliance to industry guidelines) and critically evaluate data to be included in the content.

We are committed to high quality products, so you must be comfortable with review and feedback through an open, collaborative development process. While you may collaborate with other stakeholders, the ability to conduct independent research and produce content on a strict deadline is key to this role.

Medical Content Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
- draft and edit high-quality, medically accurate subspecialty history content pieces including online learning education module outlines, drafts, expert briefing documents, and application-based case studies.

Work includes:
- create medical history content
- perform background research
- communicate with stakeholders and clients; gather critical feedback and incorporate into content
- understand, incorporate, and appropriately reflect content and context-specific objectives into medical history content

Medical Content Engineer Requirements and Qualifications
- medical degree from a North American or Commonwealth university
- experience writing and/editing scientific documents
- familiarity with AMA, APA writing styles
- ability to meet deadlines
- organizational skills
- education, business, and communications training
- 3 years of clinical experience

Preferred professional training:
- physicians with consideration also given to nurse practitioners
