Key Role Information
Family Physician – Edmonton, Etobicoke & Toronto
Locations: Edmonton, AB | Etobicoke, ON | Toronto, ON
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time | Permanent
Schedule: Flexible (Weekdays and/or Weekends)
Compensation: Competitive split based on provincial billing structures (OHIP in Ontario, AHS in Alberta), with additional incentives for comprehensive care participation
About the Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Family Physicians to join our growing network of medical clinics across Edmonton, Etobicoke, and Toronto. These are modern, well-established practices designed to provide comprehensive primary care in collaborative and patient-centered environments.
Whether you are an experienced physician or a recent graduate, this is an excellent opportunity to build or expand your practice with the support of an experienced administrative team, integrated EMR systems, and access to multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver full-spectrum primary care to patients across all age groups.
• Conduct thorough health assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment plans.
• Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with best clinical practices.
• Promote preventive health measures, including screening, immunization, and patient education.
• Collaborate closely with allied health professionals, specialists, and community programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records within EMR systems.
• Provide after-hours or on-call coverage on a rotational or as-needed basis (if applicable).
Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent from a recognized medical institution.
• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
• Active or eligible license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and/or College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, holistic care.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Telus PS Suite, Accuro, OSCAR, Med Access) is preferred
