We are currently seeking applications from experienced mental health Registered and Enrolled Mental health nurses to join our private mental health team.
At present there are several positions available on a permanent part time and casual basis.
Mandatory qualifications and requirements:
Full registration with AHPRA
Experience in mental health nursing
Strong focus on patient centred nursing care
Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice
Focus on service improvement for delivery of excellent patient care and positive patient outcomes.
Promote safety, security and personal integrity in the work place
Knowledge or willing to obtain knowledge of trauma informed care
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be and remain vaccinated against preventable diseases during their employment.
Required personal competencies:
Effective time management and coordination skills
Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care
Abel to conduct a comprehensive and systematic mental health assessment
Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice
Ability to work with minimal supervision
All employees are required to complete and maintain their mandatory education and competencies in accordance with Marian Centre policies and procedures.
