Summarise an academic research article in lay language

I own a medical education business and I am looking for a talented medical blog post writer. The job is to read an academic research publication (that I will select) and then summarise the article in approximately 300-500 words using ‘lay language’ and one key figure/image (taken from the publication). The blog post must be easily understood by the general public. I will provide a structure for you to use, to help you summarise the article. The successful freelancer will summarise one article in this job, but if the work is of good quality, I will be looking to commission one article summary per week (longer-term ongoing contract).
