Reflection & Insight on Patient Consultation
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
• Context: A Patient Consultation Incident: the patient, a female of Chinese origin which had walked out of the consultation after he had asked for her to lift her jumper twice for a chest examination and her refusal to do so. No chaperone was present for this examination. He explained that he did not offer a chaperone as he did not consider the examination to be intimate. The patient mentioned that other doctors had examined her through her jumper which Dr. X felt was unreasonable.
Goal, to answer all points below:
