Medical Systematic Review Assistance

Job ID: 40513379

Budget: €6 – €12 EUR

My draft protocol for a systematic review in acute medicine is ready; what I need now is hands-on help turning it into a publishable manuscript.

Here is the workflow I would like you to join:

1. Literature search
• Design and run a reproducible strategy across PubMed, Cochrane Library and Embase, documenting every step in line with PRISMA.
• Export results, remove duplicates and provide the full EndNote (or RIS) library.

2. Data extraction
• Build a piloted Excel/Google-Sheet template.
• Extract study characteristics, outcomes and risk-of-bias items exactly as defined in the protocol.
• Flag missing data and discrepancies for my review.

3. Draft writing & editing
• Populate the Methods section with the final search strategy and flow diagram.
• Summarise extracted data in tables and figures.
• Edit the Results and Discussion sections so they follow PRISMA 2020 wording and structure.

Acceptance criteria
• Search strings, date limits and filters clearly reported.
• PRISMA flow diagram matches the de-duplicated library.
• Extraction sheet complete and internally consistent.
• Draft manuscript ready for journal submission with references formatted.

Communication will be through shared cloud folders and weekly check-ins, but I am flexible if you prefer another system. If your background includes previous systematic reviews in medicine and you are comfortable with tools such as RevMan, Covidence or Rayyan, that will make collaboration even smoother.
