Freelance Nursing Job Descriptions

I’m putting together a series of job posts aimed at attracting freelance / contract nurses for healthcare facilities and home-care agencies. What I need from you is a set of polished, easy-to-scan descriptions that highlight day-to-day duties, required credentials (state licensure, BLS, specialty certs), and the flexibility that comes with contract work. Each description should balance a friendly tone with enough technical detail to satisfy compliance teams and experienced nurses alike.

You’ll receive a short brief for every role—staff RN, travel RN, LPN, and one advanced practice slot. For each one, deliver a final Word or Google Doc that includes:

• An attention-grabbing summary
• Key responsibilities and shift expectations
• Must-have qualifications and preferred experience
• A concise call to action inviting qualified nurses to apply
