Abstract:-
Breast cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women globally. Awareness, early detection, and lifestyle modifications can significantly reduce the disease burden. This article highlights the causes, risk factors, and preventive measures, emphasizing the importance of timely screening.
Introduction:-
Breast cancer remains a major global health concern, accounting for nearly one in eight cancer diagnoses among women (World Health Organization [WHO], 2024). Early detection through screening and public education plays a vital role in improving survival outcomes.

The risk of breast cancer increases with factors such as age, family history, and certain genetic mutations (American Cancer Society [ACS], 2024). Additional contributors include hormonal changes, obesity, alcohol consumption, and sedentary lifestyle habits.
Signs and Symptoms:-
Early symptoms may include a lump in the breast or underarm, nipple discharge, or visible skin changes. Many patients are asymptomatic in the initial stages, highlighting the importance of regular screenings.
