Spanish Medical Report Translation & Formatting
Budget: $250 – $750 NZD
I have a medical-field technical report written in Spanish that must read as if it were originally drafted in English. Accuracy in clinical terminology, drug names, and procedural language is essential—there’s no room for mistranslations or ambiguities that could alter meaning or compromise regulatory acceptance.
Alongside the translation itself, I need the finished document delivered as a polished, press-ready PDF. The layout should mirror (or subtly improve upon) the source, with custom headers and footers branded to match our house style. Page numbering, section labels, and any existing footnotes or references must remain perfectly aligned after conversion.
Deliverables
• Fully translated report in an editable file (Word or InDesign)
• Final, high-resolution PDF incorporating the custom headers and footers
• A quick side-by-side terminology check sheet for the most critical medical phrases
Acceptance criteria
1. Translation validated as error-free by at least one native-level medical reviewer.
2. Formatting identical to—or cleaner than—the original, with no orphaned headings, widowed lines, or spacing inconsistencies.
3. PDF passes accessibility and text-search tests (no flattened text).
