Remote Spanish Medical Interpreter Needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I need an experienced Spanish ↔ English interpreter for live, over-the-phone medical sessions. This is a fully remote contract, so you must have reliable high-speed internet, a quality headset, and a consistently quiet workspace.
A current (even basic) HIPAA certification is mandatory, and you should be ready to sign a confidentiality agreement before the first call.
You’ll be supporting physicians, nurses, and patients on a range of topics—from medical histories and prescription instructions to discharge discussions—effectively, every term that might surface during routine or specialist care. Total accuracy, neutrality, and cultural sensitivity are crucial.
Deliverables
• Real-time consecutive interpretation during scheduled phone appointments
• Immediate availability through our VoIP platform or a direct phone line
• A brief log after each call noting date, duration, and confirmation of comprehension
Acceptance criteria
– Clear audio with no background noise or noticeable lag
– Faithful, complete rendering of meaning and medical terminology
– Full adherence to HIPAA and privacy protocols
